June Favourites

It’s that time again, it’s monthly favourites time. And do I have a good bunch of favourites in store for you this month. So without further ado, here we go:

Chanel Stylo Fresh Effect Eyeshadow in Caroube, £23 – First up I have this cooling number which is a limited edition offering from Chanel. It’s a beautiful brown/purple shade that proffers a cooling sensation on your lids, which has been perfect for the heatwaves we’ve been experiencing in the UK lately. It’s rather similar to By Terry’s Ombré Blackstar in Misty Rock, just without as much glitter, making it easier to wear in the daytime.

Laura Mercier Silk Creme Oil Free Photo Edition Foundation in Suntan, £35 – Having recently tanned quite a bit I’ve been struggling to find a foundation that matches my skin. This one is perfect when mixed with my foundation favourite for last month plus there’s still room for tanning. It has great coverage with a matte finish that lasts all day. I love it.

Bobbi Brown Long Wear Cream Eyeshadow in Beach Bronze, £19 – A new bronzey eyeshadow that I am besotted with. With a slight shimmer running through it, I think it’s so perfect for summer when paired with a smudgy brown liner. And it dries slowly enough for you to apply it to both eyelids and then blend, which I find makes it easier to ensure you have the same amount on both lids. Win.

Kiko Smart Lip Pencils in 711, Light Plum and 712, Rose Mauve, £2.50 each – I think this has been one of my most worn lip combinations recently. I line my lips and fill the outer edges of my lips with the darkest shade of the two plum shades (711) and then fill in the centre of my lips with the lighter shade (712) for a Kylie Jenner-esque look. These lipliners are great because they aren’t as drying as most lipliners tend to be so I can wear them the whole day without any trouble. I highly recommend them.

That concludes my beauty favourites for this month. What have you been loving this month?
